The CREATOR'S Servant

Hello sweeties, (^_^)

As a woman,
Islam tells me I'm not here to display,
my body is not for public consumption,
I am not allow anyone to reduce me to an object.

I am a soul, a mind, a servant of God.

 I don't worship beauty stands,
and don't submit to fashion sense.

My submission is to something higher,
my worth is defined by the beauty of my soul,
my heart,
my moral character.

And so when you look at me,
that character is all that you should see,
not my body.

With my veil, I put my faith to display,
rather than my beauty.

Because my value as a human being,
is defined by my relationship with God;
and so I cover the irrelevant.

When you look at me, you view me only as I am;
a servant of the CREATOR.

Do realize it...

Hello sweeties (^_^)

“We must also realize that nothing happens without a purpose. Nothing. Not even broken hearts. Not even pain. That broken heart and that pain are lessons and signs for us. They are warnings that something is wrong. They are warnings that we need to make a change. Just like the pain of being burned is what warns us to remove our hand from the fire, emotional pain warns us that we need to make an internal change. That we need to detach. Pain is a form of forced detachment. Like the loved one who hurts you again and again and again, the more dunya hurts us, the more we inevitably detach from it. The more we inevitably stop loving it.”

Silence

Hello sweeties,

When you sit in silence long enough, you learn that silence has a motion. It glides over you without shape or form, exactly like water. Its color is silver. And silence has a sound you hear only after hours of wading inside it. The sound is soft, like flute notes rising up, like the words of glass speaking. Then there comes a point when you must shatter the blindness of its words, the blindness of its light.” — The Shape of Water by Anne Spollen
